Ukrainian vACC
General Information
vACC-UA provide air traffic control service at territory and in virtual airspace of Ukraine that has a borders with seven countries like Belarus, Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova and Turkey.
Virtual airspace of Ukraine is separated at 5 flight information regions (FIRs): L’viv FIR, Kyiv FIR, Kharkiv FIR, Odessa FIR and Simferopol FIR.
Flight rules and ATC procedures that applied in virtual airspace of Ukraine are in accordance with standards and recommended practice that reflected in Appendixes 2 and 11 of ICAO Convention and Doc 4444 ATM/501 ICAO – air traffic control service rules – ATC organization.
In virtual airspace of Ukraine is applied imperial leveling rule with reduced vertical separation minimums (RVSM) above of FL275
