Information:Minsk FIR - this is the airspace of Republic of Belarus. This FIR have frontiers with Poland,Lithuania,Latvia,Russia and Ukraine. In general, the air traffic rules and procedures in force and the organization of the air traffic services are in conformity with ICAO standarts, recommended practices and procedures. The Minsk FIR use the combined system of echelonment. Above FL50 we use feets, And below FL50 we use meters. But if you like, controller can give you feets below FL50. All flight levels changes from meters to feets and from feets to meters,crossing the Froniter of Russian Federation must be in progress above the airspace of Belarus.
