Information for departing flights: If flying out of Domodedovo or Vnukovo airport contact Moscow Approach 2 if there's no lower positions available. If flying out of Sheremetyevo contact Moscow Approach 1 if there's no lower positions available. Remarks: If only one approach controller is available (MSK_1_APP or MSK_2_APP) contact him regardless of your departure airport. Information for arriving flights: If you're approaching the Moscow TMA from the West or the North contact Moscow Approach 1 , for the other directions the Moscow Approach 2 is the right position to contact. Use the following chart to determine their area of coverage. Yellow - MSK_1_APP Green - MSK_2_APP Remarks: If only one approach controller is available contact him regardless of your position. The top boundary of the Approach controller's area of responsibility is 12100 meters (39700 ft).
Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo Radars positions areas of coverage. The top boundary of the Radar controller's area of responsibility is 300 meters above the Transition Level.
